we stayed at Slightly Chilled so we could get up early and climb Adam's Peak the next day. it was a great place, excellent views of the peak from the dining room, nice rooms and facilities and lovely food and friendly people. they also woke us up in the early morning, we felt like we had really been lucky to find such a great place to stay!

We booked a room at the Slightly Chilled Guest House for the night we climbed Adam's Peak. It's conveniently located about 1km away from the base of the climb and the accommodation itself is good value, clean and well managed. Our corner room had a spacious balcony overlooking the neighbourhood and the peak. The staff are extremely nice and helpful - personally ensuring we got up for our 2am wake up call. I can also thoroughly recommend their delicious rice & curry, and fresh fruit juice - of which I ordered seven glasses to prepare and recuperate from the climb!

I am writing about the Slightly Chilled Guest House at Adam's Peak.
I stayed here for 3 days in August and must say I can't wait to go back to this place. The guesthouse is clean and the staff are very helpful. The food was very good ,especially the chicken and potato curry to which my mouth is watering thinking about it now. The balcony view was amazing. Can see Adam's peak to your right and beautiful hill in front with tea growing. They also have free mountain bike rental if you stay longer than a day. I would really recommend satying here for a few days if you are not in a rush.
