Comments (English):
Excellent price. Good clean room and good breakfast. The owners are friendly and helpful. The hotel is in the district of Fatih a walk away from the old centre. You can walk to the spice bazzar along the Golden Horn for about 20 minutes which is very pleasant (except having to cross a busy road at one point). Fatih is a fascinating district which I would 't have visited if I wasn't staying there. Fatih mosque is magnificent and the market there on Wednesday is fantastic. Take a taxi back to the hotel in the evenings and make sure you use the airport transfer which the hotel arranges.

Comments (English):
The value for money at this Hotel is extraordinary. It is located in Fatih which is in between Taksim and Sultanhamet. Easily accessed with Taxi which is cheap and convenient in Istanbul. The hotel manager was super helpful and gave us a hand in anything from getting around in Istanbul to tips about how to get flats (we are Erasmus student). I would really recommend this Hotel!

All necessary information are obtained on the first day. Excellent connectivity to all parts of the city. Hot water 24 hours, very good Wi Fi , clean rooms, excellent shower,free coffe and tea all day. Cheapest transfer from / to the airport. The neighborhood is very polite to foreigners. Ero ad Istanbul, con una mia amica per un viaggio alla scoperta della città. Nonostante lo smarrimento iniziale, abbiamo potuto subito notare l'ospitalità di questo popolo e di Vural, proprietario e gestore dell'albergo, in particolare. E' stato molto disponibile e gentile nell'illustrarci la città, e nel consigliarci luoghi da vedere e posti in cui mangiare.

I want to write a few words about Hotel Lotus - Confortable, clean, quiet, nice neighbourhood, hospitable people. I think those are sufficient for a pleasant holiday in Istanbul.
