Comments (English):
Stayed in a double room with private bathroom. Room was clean and spacious. Shower provided limited heat (pro tip: less water flow = more heat), but that is normal for Guatemala. Courtyard is nicer than the older pictures show - lots of plants, and a nice space..
Very convenient location. There was also a shared kitchen which we didn't use- could be handy if you're there for more than a few days.. Minutes to a very large supermarket and the main local markets as well. Would gladly return.

This was a nice, quiet place. Our room had a great view of on of the old church ruins. Mercedes was friendly and helpful. A few block walk to the plaza and market. A good spot for our family of 4.

Comments (English):
Very conveniently located just 1 block from the center of Antigua. 2nd floor balcony with view of volcanoes. Rooms cleaned daily. Good breakfast buffet at nearby hotel for $6 per day, per person. Private small bathroom in ea. room.
Beware of any travel changes that may result in losing part of your non refundable deposit through IWB. Read cancellation policy carefully, of both IWB and the hotel, itself. If you speak English and the staffer does not, simply request someone who speaks English if you have to make reservation changes. Manager and some staff speak English.

This was my second stay at the Posada. There are only 8 rooms and a small kitchen to make my own food. I like the location because there is a nice restaurant on the corner, and it's only a block from the Bodegona and a couple of blocks from the Artesian markets. The staff are very helpful and bilingual.

Excelente lugar !!! bien ubicado, bonitas habitaciones, silencioso para descansar.
Los Chicos de La recepción son súper amables y siempre recomiendan los mejores lugares para visitar.
Solo como feedback ampliar un poco los baños ya que el lavatorio y el servicio sanitario de la habitación 1 están muy unidos .

This is a nice friendly good value posada with a decent well equipped kitchen, in a central location in Antigua. You *can* get cheaper rooms, but these were large, with private bathroom and working TV. Very clean everywhere.
Nice ambience, with upper and lower galleries. From the upper, you get a lovely view of both Agua and Fuego. My room was cleaned daily, with fresh towels every day. Decent coffee on weekends. Nearby Bodegona for groceries.
Lots of nearby restaurants, as well. Unfortunately, the nearest thing nearby is a bar but even on the noisiest of nights, they shut down around midnight or 1 and they don't have a super loud sound system. Worst aspect isn't retricted to this location: tiles and concrete walls tend to amplify sound, and some of the guests were not super considerate about the noise associated with their early-early-early departures or phone calls to other time zones. Overall, however, I'd stay here again without hesitation.
