| Comments (English): I stayed in this resort with my brothers wedding as a main reason. The wedding was organisedby the owners of the resort and it was just Fabulous!!! This surely was something never to forget. After staying here for a full week you leave the feeling that you're leaving your family behind! Beside that the accomodation can be classified as 6* PLUS, beautifull designed private villages with a great eyes for detail! Most remarkable for me was one morning - when I had my cigarette out on the balcony at 7:30 am - returning after 1 hour, all of a sudden there was a small table put outside with an ashtray on it! Went back in my room for a hower and when i opened my door there was a cup of hot steaming coffee for me on the table!! Nevr asked for anything, and I hadn't even seen any member of staff yet that morning! Anybody who is in for a treat.. I'd say don't skip this place!!!! | Comments (English): My partner and I have recently returned from a 3 week holiday in Thailand and can easily say our 5 day stay at the Oriental Siam Resort was the highlight of our trip. The Oriental Siam is a beautifully designed, well appointed boutique resort located only a short drive from the main center of Chiang Mai. The staff at the resort were very professional, extremely hospitable, kind and went out of their way to make our stay and experience in Chiang Mai unforgettable. Our private freestanding villa was beautifully designed and always immaculately maintained by the housekeeping staff. Breakfast was beautiful as was all the food during our stay. The Resort is owned and operated by a local family who organised our own tour guide to show us the tourist sites and surrounds of Chiang Mai. The elephant camp, quad bike tour and tiger kingdom were our favorites. The resort owners even hosted our very own private Thai cooking lessons in the resort kitchen. This is one of the best places we have ever stayed. Highly recommended!!! You won’t be disappointed. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
