Unfortunately, I had to cancel my reservation this year; however, my family, friends and I have stayed at Pension de la Cuesta for the last three or four years. We love the laid back atmosphere and helpful staff. We usually have enough people in our group to stay in the apartment. It's fun to have the space to relax with each other. We also enjoy visiting with the interesting guests who we find each time we visit. We feel comfortable leaving our things in their care while we are traveling and plan to return each time we visit Costa Rica.

We made a beautifull tour through Costa Rica. From San Jose, to Manuel Antonio, Monte Verde, Rincon de la Vieja, Cahuita/Limon. As a starting point and the last days of our stay we were in Pension de la Cuesta, San Jose. A very cosy, friendly pension with a colourfull and warm atmosfere. The owner was very helpfull in looking for directions and hiring a 4wd car. When we come back to Costa rica (it was my second time already) Pension de la Cuesta will certainly will be in the program!
