Alma Porto Hostel

After a day of walking and sightseeing, nothing feels better than returning to the beautiful 19th century house that is Alma Porto Hostel. The building is an old jewelery factory and has been fully restored and improved, with all the modern commodities but still keeps inside the classic Porto style as well the famous tile painels, with a wonderful garden where you can relax, have a glass of wine, read a book and feel at home in a cozy, warm and familiar atmosphere!

To ensure that you have a fantastic time in Porto, we will provide you with maps, information and tips on where to go. Walking tours leave from the Alma Porto Hostel every morning, including our own crazy and underground tours.
There's Wi-Fi throughout the hostel, luggage storage, comfy beds, free linen, personal lockers, hairdryers, padlocks, never-ending hot showers and tons of local information. Access is by key and our reception is open 24hrs so there's no curfew and it's very secure because there`s always someone walking around.

We are very clean and offer a family and lovely relaxed atmosphere where you can chat to us and make new friends.

We have four floors where the dorms, bathrooms, living room and kitchen are distributed over it.

There are 2 mixed shared dorms, a private double room and a room with one bunk.

Our maximum capacity is 24 people.

The city has a lot to offer. During the day you can visit Porto is historical monuments, museums and gardens, which are at a few minutes walking distance to the Alma Porto Hostel. We offer a free walking tour every morning in order to give you an overview of the city and help you to orient yourself.
We will be happy to recommend you the best places.

Airport - you take metro and get off at Campo 24 de Agosto Station, exit and go up Rua do Bonfim and we are on your left in number 305-B..

Train - If you arrive at Campanhã Train Station, go up Rua Pinto Bessa, turn to the left to Rua do Bonfim and we are in number 305-B.

Bus - If you arrive in Praça da Batalha in Rede Express, ask for Campo 24 de Agosto it`s 5 minutes walking distance, then go up Rua do Bonfim and we are in number 305-B.
