Shower ... The water that flow through the shower is 95% cold water and which I think is not good for bathing.
However, the place is nice and safe for whoever want to go there.

From double rooms to dorms and everything in between. You will be charmed by the level of comfort and homeliness. All our rooms are really spacious and have each been designed by local artists with a unique flair for design and color. Whether you want to take it easy in our lounges, read a book in our shaded outdoor gardens, pop down to the beach or head off to the clubs, it’s all within walking distance. We’ll see you soon!

About the Property
Hostel Jones is more than a standard hostel. The design, central location, vibe and value for money are great. The hostel is a converted traditional Maltese townhouse, with large spacious rooms and lots of natural light. The community inside the hostel is amazing, hosts that will gladly help you with your travel needs. Hostel Jones is brand new, owned and run by two easy going , fun loving Maltese guys! If you are looking for something special... You've come to the right place.

The concept of the hostel is revolutionary. Around 95% of the Hostel is made out of reused, repurposed or recycled materials. Talented local artists have designed each room. Art is everywhere within the hostel, the beauty it inspires grows the great atmosphere within this community.

It is easy to fall in love with the hostel. The art and antiques are blended perfectly together giving a retro funk atmosphere that seems to bring out the best in people.

Traditional Maltese houses like Hostel Jones come with large rooms with high ceilings which keep cool in summer. Each guest is provided with a locker in his room. All rooms also come with a desk area and fans to keep cool in summer. There are new private bathrooms on every floor of the hostel.



The outdoor areas are rest and relaxation zones for you and your friends. Read a book, eat your meals and catch up with your friends daily activities under our cool shaded spots. Our communal kitchen is complete and ready for your use. We frequently organize traditional local meals so if you're on a budget and you don’t want to spend too much trying out the local goods we'll fix that for you.

Our internal living area is chilled out and comes complete with comfy couches, cushions and a big screen TV. If you just feel like taking it easy you can watch a movie or read a book from our library

We also have a dedicated no noise zone, a library where you can laze about and read a book or have a quiet chat in peace without any Tv or Radio to distract you from chilling out

Trips, tours and advice are available from your friendly hosts! So don't be afraid to ask. We welcome travellers from all over the world, being travellers ourselves we understand what you value and what you expect during your stay with us

From the shopping area you can also hop on a boat which will take you directly to the capital city Valletta (You can take the bus too but that’s boring), here you can immerse yourself in the city’s colourful history, culture and markets.

We are just 1 minute walk away from a main route bus stop.

LOCATION

Our fantastic location means that you are immediately connected to the islands main public transport, making exploring of the islands so easy. The Sliema beachfront is just two minutes away. So if you are up for a swim or if you want to hit the trendy nightlife all you need to do is walk for a few minutes :)

The neighbourhood is extremely safe, you will feel comfortable and safe walking around all the time.

The islands main nightlife is Paceville. This is 5 minutes away by bus or 15 minutes away on foot. Its party central with too many bars, pubs, discos and nightclubs to mention. You can go out and have the time of your life, when you're done your bed is just minutes away on foot. This said we encourage you to have as much fun as you can while on holiday here but we have to stress that Hostel Jones is not a party hostel and all our guests must respect each other. We have a no tolerance policy to unfriendly behaviour, so be nice to each other :P

Changes to bookings cannot be made through this website, and must be made directly with your destination hostel(s). Changes to bookings cannot be guaranteed, are at the discretion of the hostel manager and are subject to availability.
Payments
The payment you make on this website comprises a booking fee and a deposit for the cost of your entire booking. The booking fee and deposit amount are charged to your card immediately, and are non-refundable. You are required to pay the remaining balance in local currency on arrival at Hostel Jones Payment is settled in the currency selected, and at the value quoted at the time of booking. No further charges are made by Hostel Jones relating to your payment transaction or currency charges. However you may incur additional currency conversion charges from your bank or credit card company if you pay by anything other than cash.
Cancellations
Bookings made on this website can be cancelled by logging onto the desination Hostel's website and contacting the hostel directly. Cancellations can be made on this website at any time in advance of arrival date. The following conditions apply to cancellations received on this website / at destination hostel:

More than 48 hours in advance of arrival time: No further charges apply.
Within 24 hours of arrival time: A charge equivalent to the balance of your first night’s stay applies.
No cancellation received: A charge equivalent to the balance for a maximum of two nights’ stay applies.

For the purposes of calculating cancellation charges, arrival time at your destination hostel is considered as 18:00hrs (6pm) local time. This applies to cancellations only, not to late arrivals. All cancellation charges are made by the destination hostel to the same card number provided for your booking.
Refunds
The booking fee, the booking deposit amount and any cancellation charges are non-refundable. No refunds will therefore be issued.

We only ask our guests that they treat our hostel like their home! You are at liberty to use everything as long as you respect the house and the people around you.

DIRECTIONS

By Airport Transfer

Find your driver at the airport (he'll be waiting for you). Jump in his car, sit back and relax, you're on holiday



By Taxi

Jump in the car and ask your driver to take you to Dingli Circus, Sir Adrian Dingli Street Sliema. Look for the house with the Big Cacti



By Public Bus

Get out of the Airport, Walk to the Bus Stop, directly across the road from the main entrance to the airport terminal. Jump onto an X2 bus, this will pass through Sliema. Look out for or ask your friendly bus driver to stop you at “Torri” Bus Stop. You are now 2 minutes away from the hostel J. Keep walking in the same direction the bus was driving you, the second street on your left should be Dingli Street Ask. If you are unsure just ask for Dingli Street, all the locals are more than helpful! In the bottom half of Dingli Street, just 200 metres up from the coast you will find a circular piazza called “Dingli Circus”. Hostel Jones is right there



On Foot

Get to Sliema, Walk along seafront till to arrive to “Torri” Bus Stop. You are now 2 minutes away from the hostel J. Keep walking in the direction of St. Julian’s (the next town along the seafront) , the second street on your left should be Dingli Street Ask. If you are unsure just ask for Dingli Street, all the locals are more than helpful! In the bottom half of Dingli Street, just 200 metres up from the coast you will find a circular piazza called “Dingli Circus”. Hostel Jones is right there
