Clink78 combines 200 years of history with a quirky and colourful interior in London King's Cross. Set in a former courthouse, our hostel is truly unique! We offer a wide range of clean and modern facilities such as a self-catering kitchen, a fun bar, a games area, internet and TV lounges in original courtrooms, a travelshop, a laundry...

Our reception is manned 24/7 by multi-lingual staff, with night security from 9pm. We have no curfew, but you need your keycard to gain access to the hostel and your room. We are all about security!

CLASHBAR (open from 7pm until late every night) - strictly for the over 18s Clashbar brings you 7-nights-a-week of pure entertainment, fun and frivolity. It's great value and the perfect place to meet people, sample cool cocktails, play games and dance the night away. Check out our great DJs and acoustic sets.

Please note that guests who wish to bring children less than 16 years of age must book whole dorms or private rooms.

Bookings cannot be accepted from any underage person unless they are accompanied by an adult over 18. They will be refused check-in.

Our private rooms are a bunk bed with a double bed at the bottom and a single bed at the top. Note that all our dorms are mixed unless a girl dorm is booked. When booking dorm beds in dorm rooms, we cannot guarantee that you will all be staying in the same room. We suggest booking private rooms if you don't want to be separated.

Neighborhood

5 min walking from International Kings Cross St Pancras (Eurostar) in central London with all the attractions you need around. Great day and night transport.

To the North of us are Camden Markets and Regents Park Zoo, to the South are the world famous British Museum, St Pauls Cathedral and the Tate Modern. To the East is the trendy nightlife of Angel, Old Street and Farrington and to the West are the shops of Covent Garden and Oxford Street. All are within walking distance or just a few minutes away by bus or underground.

Booking and cancellation policy

Unless otherwise specified, booking payments are non-refundable.

If you wish to cancel your reservation, you will need to notify us by email 48 hours in advance of your arrival date (and 7 days before the arrival dates of the 29th, 30th and 31st of December). However, if you only let us know within 2 days before your arrival, or fail to show up on the arrival date, you will be charge in full for your stay. Please note that the deposit paid to this website is not refundable.
In the event of a no show the hostel charges all nights on customer's credit card

FROM KING'S CROSS ST. PANCRAS UNDERGROUND AND TRAIN STATIONS :

The closest Tube/ Underground/ Subway Station to Clink Hostel is KINGS CROSS ST. PANCRAS. From there we are about a 10 minute walk. There are a A LOT of exits from the station but once you have walked outside make sure that EUSTON RD is in front of you and that the Kings Cross and St. Pancras stations are behind you and all you have to do is turn LEFT and walk down Euston Rd. Euston Rd will then turn into PENTONVILLE RD. Walk down this street and the 2nd street on your right will be KINGS CROSS RD. Turn down this street and follow this for a few blocks. This street will curve around to the right and on your left you will see a big TRAVELODGE, we are located directly after this. We are a big COURTHOUSE, impossible to miss, located at 78 Kings Cross Rd.

FROM HEATHROW AIRPORT :

Just take the Piccadilly Line (Dark Blue) all the way to Kings Cross St. Pancras Station and follow the directions above.

FROM GATWICK AIRPORT :

First Capital Connect trains will take you straight to St Pancras Station and then follow the directions above.

FROM STANSTED AIRPORT :

By Bus - Terravision Buses will take you to Liverpool St. Station and from there transfer to the Underground and take the Metropolitan Line (Dark Red), Circle Line (Yellow) or Hammersmith and City Line (Pink) WESTBOUND to Kings Cross St Pancras Undergound station and follow the directions above.

By Train - The Stansted Express will take you to Tottenham Hale station and from there take the Victoria Line (Light Blue) SOUTHBOUND to Kings Cross St Pancras Station and follow the directions above.

FROM LUTON AIRPORT :

By Bus - Easybus or Green Line coaches will take you to Baker St Underground Station and from there you can take the Metropolitan Line (Dark Red), Circle Line (Yellow) or Hammersmith and City Line (Pink) EASTBOUND to Kings Cross St Pancras Underground Station and follow the directions above.

By Train - You will need to take the free shuttle bus to Luton Airport train Station and from there the Luton Express will take you to Paddington Station. From Paddington Station take the Hammersmith and City Line (Pink ) WESTBOUND to Kings Cross St Pancras Station and follow the directions above.
