I stayed at the City Center - right across the main train station - for eleven nights. I had booked only the first four, but decided to stay longer as I found the location great and the price of the room even better. I had to move twice; once to a similar twin bed room, once to a small dorm. I preferred to have my own room, for which I paid less than 20 euro.

The rooms were clean and tidy enough, the bathroom and showers weren't - but hey, you don't want to spend to much time in the WC anyway.

Staff was friendly. A couple of them could communicate perfectly well in English, some hardly could at all, but everybody was friendly. I felt absolutely safe through my visit.

Most of my meals in Belgrade I had - when not working in one of the boring glass palaces of New Belgrade - at the great Kasina Pivovar. Kasina is the slightly run down hotel across the street from the more famous Hotel Moskva. Its restaurant is a gorgeous hard-to-describe establishment which serves decent serbian food very cheaply, and to go with it a fabulous beer (stick to the light beer) being brewed at the premises. It's an extraordinarily thick, unfiltered lager, served with a really big head. The sweetish, slightly tart taste of it reminds you probably of a German wheat beer. Or of a mashed banana with lots of lemon. The price you pay for a pint reminds you of heaven: 90 dinars, or 9 euros.

I along with my colleague stayed in City Center, Belgrade, Serbia for about a week. They are centrally located, walking distance to all all important places, markets etc., large rooms, clean. Being Asians, faced some problem with break-fast. Very friendly staff from Reception to the room attendants. Very satisfied, and have assured their management of our continued stay in their hotel.

My friend and me stayed in City Center, Belgrade from 11th to 18th April 2008. We had booked double bed (twin bed) room with attached bath. On arrival, our room was ready. The Citicentre is really in the center of the city, very close to the Rail-Station, Bus Station and from very nearby you can board the coach for the airport every hour. Walking distance to all important places. Breakfast is included in the price, but unfortunately it is not upto the mark. The staff is ever-smiling and very helpful. Language problem with some staff members, but it is manageable. We have decided to stay in this Citi Center whenever we visit this place, and we have promised the General Manager of this hotel.
