My wife and I stayed at the Imperial Rooms on May 7th to 14th, 2008. I must say that this is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. I could hardly contain my excitement when I saw the room!

I had an unbelievable rate of Euro 130,00 per night including breakfast(standard rate is 160.00 sometime even more). The room was very nice, with a enjoyable view on the Colosseum( just 30 metres walking from the building) large, two terraces with lounge chairs, very big bathroom with an enormous jacuzzi bath and all kind of comfort a person could need! We also had drinks in room such as sparkling wine(just 2.50 euros).Unfortunately I didn't think about making some photos of the room but I can't forget its perfect style.

The hotel was recently renovated and it showed everywhere. The staff was very helpful and was more than willing to recommend excellent places to eat.
We found the hotel to be in a very good location. From our room window we could see a park named Colle Oppio.I found it to be a great place to feel free of city pollution. ty and back, although that is a very long walk each way.
The Imperial Rooms is a wonderfull property in the heart of Rome well situated for the business traveler or the casual tourist. If you can find the rate I was lucky enough to find - book it! You won't regret it - this is one of the top hotels in Rome.

This hotel was reasonably priced and in a terrific location next to the Colosseum and a block from the metro station. The bars down below on the street level can be quite noisy and are busy every day of the week, but from my third floor room, with the windows closed, it didn't bother me at all. Otherwise, you can request a room in the back away from the street level.

No elevators, so I wouldnt recommend this hotel for people with disabilities or who have trouble navigating stairs. Lots of food options near by. Breakfast is included but you have to go to a cafe next door to get it (they give you a ticket at the front desk each morning).

Rooms are of a good size and very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Free wireless internet was a bonus, although the signal didnt reach up to my 3rd floor room. Ethernet ports were available in the rooms, but you have to bring your own cord.

Overall, it was a very nice home base for exploring Rome and I would definitely stay here again.
